How long does it take to get my Virtual Phone Number?

Once you have chosen your Virtual Phone Number and selected a feature package the number will be instantly activated. Normally the whole process of acquiring a Virtual Phone Number shouldn't take more than around 5 minutes. You just need to tell us where you'd like your new number pointed to!

Can I choose my own Virtual Phone Number?

Yes. Once you have selected the area code you need you will be shown a full list of Virtual Phone Numbers we have available organised in groups of standard, premium, and premium plus. Simply select the Virtual Phone Numbers(s) of your choice and follow the instruction to sign up.

How do I keep my numbers topped up with credit?

When signing up, you'll choose a plan for your numbers that includes bundled minutes and features. We simply take payment from a credit / debit card each month for your chosen package.

Do I need a separate account for each Virtual Number I own?

No. You can have multiple numbers on your single account and manage them all from within our easy to use online portal.

What happens if I move premises?

You can keep your Virtual Phone Number. One of the benefits of Virtual Local Phone numbers is that if your company is expanding and you need to move to alternative accommodation you can take your number with you even if you are moving to an area with a different STD code. You simply re-route your Virtual Local Phone number to your new destination by logging in to the portal.

What is the contract length?

There is no minimum contract length. If your Virtual Phone Number becomes inactive for a period of six months then its ownership will transfer back to Virtually Local for re-sale.

What happens if I exceed my bundled minutes?

If you exceed your bundled minutes we will notify you that this has happened. In order to keep your number in service we charge a small pence per minute rate which is deducted at the end of each call from your account balance.

Do my callers know they are being diverted?

No. Calls are seamlessly routed to their destination number and the caller does not know they are being diverted to either a single number, or round a hunt group.

How many virtual numbers can I have?

You can have as many as you want. Some customers have just one, whilst some customers want to advertise in areas where they have no physical presence and so have a number in each area.

I have an existing number, can I use it with your service?

Yes, in most cases it is possible to "port" your number across to our network. We have a dedicated team of people that will make this as easy as possible for you, but we will need you to sign an industry standard Letter of Authority
